More than 100 different vocational qualifications can be completed in Raahe. Cooperation with higher education institutions is also continuously developed with several partners. Students come to Raahe to study Bachelor's degrees in Civil and Structural Engineering, ICT and Mechanical Engineering, nursing, and Business Administration specialising in gaming industry.

Coordinated by the TE Office, the Work and Education Fair TSÄÄNSSI is organised in Raahe every year in January. In 2022, Raahe Region Development launched the Crossroads (Risteys) recruitment events, which will continue with partners and companies. The fairs and events are intended for everyone interested in work and education, and participation in them is free of charge for employers and visitors.
